My brother helped my sis and I sneak in over the crater. Wow, Oh I remember Day 2 of 76. I think one of the painted singers or musicians had a Fro. Good times. Id just spent almost 3 months submerged on a Nuclear Sub, returned to Pearl and our place in Waikiki, so this day was particularly unique and beautiful for me. @Robert Wow, you got me. I remember a young Pauline Wilson singing with either Ox or Seawind, cant remember. June the 7th 1970 The Crater Celebration The Steve Miller Blues Band was on the poster. She made all of these colorful candles that didnt sell. I was always the one up front by the stage clapping my hands in the air and rocking out (which I still do today). It was an amazing time all the stony people and the weed was flowingeverywhere you walked you could smell it., It was all laidback. Still have the T-shirt and fond memories of my first few days in Hawaii. 12/31/75 and 01/01/76. I was 19, stationed with 1/3 at KBay.
